Hi Everyone and thanks for stopping by my Charity Web Journal!
My name is Robin, this site is the story of my attempts to travel to Zambia next summer to work as a volunteer in the poverty stricken communities in which I sponsor a six year old boy. On this page you will find the story of how I do in my quest to raise the funds needed to get there, and to take some essential supplies with me.
If anyone would like to make a donation, please email me robinnelsonmiller@gmail.com and in the meantime please read on and check out my charity auctions and other fundraising initiatives.
Don't forget to sign the guestmap!!
Thanks for calling in Robin.Good luck with getting involved with World Vision. Its something my daughter will be doing after her degree. Either that or Amnast International. The world sure needs people like you
Have a wonderful upcoming week!
!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend and thanks for visiting my neck of the woods.
. Seriously, a HUGE vote of thanks to Jo (the female variety) for taking numerous photos of me and celebs during the day. A couple will appear on this entry while the rest will go into the soon to be created photo album section.

There's a whole new round of sales on eBay at the moment so pop on by and check out whats up for grabs.
I listed 13 items 3 days ago and they are now all selling, currently at a total of just shy of £60. I've added another ten so far today and items up for sale now include signed pics from David Tennant, Simon Pegg, June Whitfield, and Geoffrey Bayldon.
I've also added new sections into the side menus to list all the items that I have up for sale, but might not have made eBay just yet. Feel free to make offers for any of these items. So far I've only included the index cards and theatre leaflets but the others will be added shortly.
So what are you waiting for...
what a day...
I may have had to pull the plug on my day in the west end before meeting Gwyneth Paltrow due to tiredness and the fact that I have a full day working tomorrow, but even so, I got loads of success today.
First up came a visit to Wyndhams Theatre where Heroes has just opened. Although I had missed Richard Griffiths by the time I got there, I did manage to get leaflets signed by Ken Stott (what a A$£h0!e) and Alien legend John Hurt. Next up was the Criterion where Huw Higginson (The Bill), Belinda Lang (2.4 Children) and Joanna Page (Love Actually) all signed index cards for me.
A wee jaunt around the corner to the Duke of York's saw my Tom, Dick and Harry poster signed by Mark McGann, Joe McGann, Steve McGann, Mark Wingett, Brian Greene, Sarah Wateridge, Louise Jameson and David Warwick while Mark, Mark and Steve signed leaflets, and Louise and Joe signed index cards.
Moving round to Trafalgar Studios where James Nesbitt, Jim Norton and Packy Lee provided their signatures on some items - Norton (Leaflet and Magazine), Nesbitt (twice on magazine), Lee (magazine, index card and leaflet).
Final journey (thought I didn't know at the time) saw a check on Lynda Carter at the Adelphi which proved fruitless, although I nipped back round twenty minutes later and nabbed Sally Ann Triplett on an index card.
So no GP, but a good day all round, and I might just be alive to do a day's work tomorrow. Photo's to follow shortly.
Keep checking by and don't forget to check the eBay pages out!
Finally - a hey and a thanks to Steve who kept me company for the day after I met him outside Wyndham's awaiting Ken Stott. Cheers for taking my photos for me Steve, and hope to hear from you soon.
Well, despite being a little disappointed that I couldn't attend the 'Elizabethtown' Premiere yesterday due to work commitments and missing out on the lovely Kirsten Dunst in the process, things are still looking up on the charity front. I'm just about to update the charity total once I figure out who's paid what so far for the items which have been bought on the last auction days.
In the last few days there have been a few successes in the post
I'm also about to put another round of auctions up for grabs, now that I finally have a day off work, so make sure you drop into the eBay auctions link on the right hand menu and see if there's something that you would like for you, a friend, a present...the list goes on.
Over to you guys...
It was a good day on the eBay front today with 28 auctions ending in the last 24hours. It looks as if somewhere in the region of £200 has been made once fees are deducted and one of the highlights being the signed Derren Brown pic for £21.
More to follow and the total will be updated shortly as the funds come into my account.
Watch this space - or rather the eBay link on the right menu for more brilliant auctions coming soon!!
